The GS-12 salary range starts at $89,508.00 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience performing assessments of supply operations programs, information technology and related systems. Additionally, this experience must include: ● Analyzing supply systemic programs (e.g. assessing programs performance, hardware or software components, automated systems used within and/or among its customer agencies) to improve supply business practices; ● Evaluating supply systems programs to identify areas for improvement (e.g. cost savings and improved systems efficiencies); ● Compiling reports to evaluate the effectiveness of program goals; and ● Communicating with customers (e.g. participating in customer surveys and/or training sessions) to resolve supply problems.

As a Supply Systems Analyst, you will perform systemic analysis of supply operations and identify ways in which automation can enhance or improve program operations for Supply Chain Management (SCM) supply program solutions supporting GSA customers. You will perform the following duties: Perform systemic analysis of supply operations and identify ways in which automation can enhance or improve program operations. Develops technical findings and recommendations taking into account knowledge of the supply program and the integration of automated technology to further business objectives. Evaluate the effectiveness of supply systems; study diverse technical operations and systems issues; identify supply business opportunities and areas for improvement (including cost savings and improved systems efficiencies); and develop comprehensive recommendations, along with a proposed action plan. Represent the office in contacts with vendors and customers to address hardware, software or other information systems specifications, requirements and ongoing needs. Assess supply operations and systems requirements; develop and implement local procedures and processes to improve Activity Address Code (AAC) ordering and requisitioning to ensure program is effective and procedures are updated continuously to meet supply expectations and requirements. Provide training or other user support both within and outside of GSA about supply information systems, supply business programs, their capabilities and operations.
