Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13-14) grade level or pay band( NM-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1.) Providing technical leadership and oversight for complex engineering programs; 2.) Directing the research and development (R&D) of advanced modeling and simulation technologies while ensuring the successful transition of new technologies to the fleet.; 3). Leading a multi-disciplinary technical team by providing mentorship and fostering the professional growth of engineers and scientists ; 4.) Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships within the government, academic, and private sector stakeholders to define requirements and achieve program objectives; 5.) Ensuring organizational accountability by managing budgets, implementing engineering quality control processes, and maintaining compliance with security and cyber security policies. You will lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary technical team, providing mentorship, evaluating performance, and fostering the professional growth of engineers and scientists to meet mission goals.
You will direct the full lifecycle of technical projects within the CDIL, providing leadership for complex engineering programs from initial requirements definition and research through to system integration, test, and deployment.
You will drive research and development of advanced modeling and simulation technologies, overseeing the creation of new design concepts and ensuring the successful transition of new technologies to the fleet.
You will establish and maintain strategic partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, including other government agencies, military services, private industry, and academia to define requirements and achieve program objectives.
You will Serve as a senior technical authority on advanced simulation, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) environments, and training systems, representing the command at technical reviews, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
You will ensure organizational accountability by managing branch-level and lab-level budgets and resources, implementing robust engineering review processes, and directing all activities to maintain compliance with sec. and cyber security policies.
