Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, assigning and reviewing work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities and schedules for work completion; finding ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed; 2) Determining and prioritizing operating and maintenance requirements based upon facility history, inspection records, age of facility and function; 3) Applying knowledge/experience in facilities planning, programming and funding, such as maintenance execution, maintenance action, and long-range maintenance plans (MEP, MAP, LRMP), to assess and advise supported clients on feasibility of their requirements; 4) Providing supervision, leadership, and direction to subordinate facilities operations specialists by delegating specific authority to carry out their respective responsibilities while establishing employee performance standards, conducting performance appraisals, and establishing leave schedules and approval guidelines. You will determine and prioritize operating and maintenance requirements based upon facility history, inspection records, age of facility and function.
You will develop comprehensive long-range programs for maintenance and repair of facilities, make recommendations for repair projects, and execute programs.
You will be responsible for planning, formulating, and executing the funds allocated in support of facility maintenance, repair, and base services.
You will lead, manage, supervise, and direct teams to maintain facilities.
You will manage programs and foster an environment that administers all resources in a manner that instills public trust while accomplishing the mission.
You will monitor progress and evaluate outcomes to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness and identifying and analyzing problems.
You will weigh relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; makes timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions.
You will apply sound resource management principles, business or industry best practices, and applicable policies, regulations, and laws to support operations.
You will align resources with policy and the strategic direction and priorities to oversee procurement and contracting to achieve desired results.
