In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for Individual Occupational Requirements for Social Science, 0101 positions and Group Coverage Qualifications Standard for Professional and Scientific Positions. BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS. -OR- Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. NOTE: YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS. -OR- Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: To qualify at the GS-12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Analyze training requirements, tracked workforce credentials, and delivered training to employees and leadership. Coordinating the victim witness assistance program to ensure the rights of the individuals are protected. Managing program data, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance for DSAID and CATCH systems. Preparing and submitting sexual assault reports in compliance with Commandant policies and procedures. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

You will serve as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator-SARC and be responsible for serving as Field Sexual Assault Response Coordinators (SARCs), and assist the HQWL Service Center (SC) and the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program Manager (PM) located in Commandant (CG-1111) in implementing the Coast Guard SAPR Program. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Tracking victims' services from initial report to resolution. Leading, training, supervising, and mentoring victim advocacy staff. Developing and implementing sexual assault prevention and response program policies, procedures, and guidance. Analyzing sexual assault program data to support reporting and program oversight. reports, and recommendations to support program effectiveness and informed decision-making.
