POLICE OFFICER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Responds to and investigates complaints while interpreting and enforcing state and federal laws; 2) Responds to intrusion detection alarms, emergency calls, complaints, and other calls for service; 3) Responding immediately to a full spectrum of critical incidents while demonstrating proficiency on a regular basis; 4) Operates electronic tactical police communication equipment to receive dispatches, respond to calls, and complete official reports. You will control access of pedestrians or vehicular traffic to restricted areas.
You will maintain accountability of firearms and ammunition (e.g., storage, transportation) under the cognizance of a police department.
You will respond to rapid changes in conditions of readiness to maintain security.
You will carry firearms or other weapons authorized for a specific jurisdiction.
You will notify emergency personnel when issues arise to assist in protecting personnel, property, equipment, or facilities.
