The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/08/2026. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 05/08/2026. GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing ALL of the following duties: Implementing organizational business changes for a program or initiative; Utilizing project management principles to manage multiple projects and/or initiatives for a large organization having national impact; Analyzing, evaluating, and developing proposed changes to policies, directives, and processes; Investigating new or improved business and management practices to determine the impact on program operations; Advising management and recommending solutions to problems having national impact. Implements, coordinates, and/or evaluates initiatives and programs associated with the E-Verify, Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9), and/or SAVE programs.
Develops and evaluates policies in assigned program or administrative areas.
Provides technical assistance and direct support to management in matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs to meet mission requirements.
Advises and provides analytical support on problem definition, planning methodologies, policies, and procedures.
Through briefings, presentations and conferences, effectively communicates information and coordinates planning activities for program.
Negotiates with officials to accept and implement recommendations that involve substantial resources; involve extensive changes to procedures, policies, and plans; or may conflict with the desires of the studied activities.
Exercises control, anticipates and resolves any issues related to assigned project or initiative.
Takes or recommends actions to achieve organizational objectives, and recommends future program objectives and improvements.
