To qualify for the position of Executive Staff Advisor, at GS-0301-14, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below. TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS - 13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. FOR THE GS-14 LEVEL: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties: Attending high-level leadership meetings and capturing critical policy changes, operational mandates, and cross-component directives to deliver concise, actionable briefings to senior executives; Translating complex, mission-critical EOIR requirements into balanced and effective administrative support strategies; Coordinating with multiple DOJ offices and stakeholders to align processes, resolve operational issues, and support mission-critical objectives; Designing, maintaining, and interpreting a high-level executive dashboard to inform leadership decision-making; Tracking key performance indicators, including budget burn rates, procurement timelines, facility capacity, and HR onboarding metrics; AND Reviewing workforce metrics to ensure recruitment pipelines, staffing availability, and retention strategies support evolving caseload demands. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Performs policy, program management, and regulatory analyses and provides advisory support to the Assistant Director for Administration in coordinating the review of issues throughout EOIR. Manages, integrates, and implements all assigned EOIR agency-level project requirements. Coordinates administrative matters that cross organizational lines and ensures open communication between organizations while addressing a number of issues for which the which have OA has specific administrative oversight responsibility. Acts as the principal assistant and contact for all actions involving schedules, protocol, correspondence, and communication of the Assistant Director for Administration.
