Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing computer programs/software (i.e. Microsoft office and environmental engineering software) to prepare engineering reports, studies, permits, etc.; 2) Participating in site visits and/or investigations to assess environmental compliance and identify deficiencies and ensuring compliance with local, state, and/or federal laws, codes, and regulations; and 3) Assisting with developing scopes of work and government estimates for environmental projects. You will review engineering and design projects to ensure environmental standards are met.
You will prepare scopes of work, government estimates, board reports, project schedules, and other documents to execute and administer the contract(s) in the petroleum tank compliance program area.
You will gather data and prepare reports to prevent pollution by informing management of environmental compliance problems.
You will provide technical expertise in petroleum storage tank and spill preparedness, controls and countermeasures compliance issues, policies, and regulations to promote compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
You will develop solutions to environmental problems that will enable customers to meet their compliance requirements.
You will review and comment on the contractor submittals, monitors progress, review contractor payments, prepare contractor evaluations and recommend final acceptance of reports and other submittals required by the contract(s).
