In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience supervising a team of scientists/technicians, to include training, scheduling, and assessing performance. Experience performing technical reviews of drug screening/confirmation data. Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced mass spectrometry instrumentation. Experience developing, validating, and implementing methods for the identification and quantification of controlled substances. Experience ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and quality assurance standards. You will develop performance standards for all subordinates.
You will enforce and promote safety to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
You will prepare reports for statistical purposes regarding the number of samples processed on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
You will provide technical advice, guidance, assistance, and support to NDSL staff and other DOD laboratories.
You will review testing documentation to ensure all testing discrepancies are properly documented.
