Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting and advising on and implementing OPM classification standards and Qualification standards; 2) Providing advisory services to management on a wide variety of classification processes and requirements; 3) Advising management on recruitment strategies and sources and special programs; 4) Advising on the development and implementation of staffing plans; 5) Advising management on HR actions necessary to implement reorganizations; 6) Mentoring and training both journey level and developmental staff on policies, procedures and technical staffing/classification laws rules and regulations. You will supervise a staff of human resources performing work in more than one functional area of human resources (e.g., Staffing and Recruitment, Position Classification).
You will educate managers on human resources issues (e.g., strategic workforce recruitment, sustainment, compensation management, organizational design).
You will brief senior leaders on the impacts of changes in human resources law and policy.
You will analyze the duties of a position to determine the correct title, pay plan, series, and grade level.
You will advise hiring managers and selecting officials on recruitment strategies for attracting the best qualified candidates for vacant positions.
Coordinate with customers (e.g., Operations Center, Managers, human resources offices, other organizations) to resolve issues with recruitment actions.
